Circular On Self-Regulatory Measures Taken By CFFEX In September 2022

To prevent market risks, maintain the orderly operation of the market and protect investors’ legitimate rights and interests, China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) took the following self-regulatory measures against violations of exchange rules in September 2022.

Shanghai Stock Exchange Published The Implementation Rules For Share Reduction By Shareholders Of Listed Companies On The STAR Market Of The Shanghai Stock Exchange By Inquiry Transfer And Placement To Specific Institutional Investors (Revised In October 2022)

In order to guide shareholders of STAR Market companies to transfer in an orderly manner in compliance with laws and regulations, introduce institutional investors to undertake investment, and better maintain market order and protect investors' interests, under the overall guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has revised and improved the Implementation Rules for Share Reduction by Shareholders of Listed Companies on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange by Inquiry Transfer and Placement to Specific Institutional Investors (hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Rules) to optimize the relevant operating procedures and information disclosure requirements for price-inquiry transfers on the STAR Market, and coordinated matters including the window period regulations and the application of depository receipt rules.

CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, CSI 300 Index options, CSI 1000 Index futures, and CSI 1000 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2210, IH2210, IC2210, IO2210(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in October 2022), IM2210, and MO2210(CSI 1000 Index options contracts expiring in October 2022) is October 21, 2022.

Monetary Authority Of Singapore Monetary Policy Statement - October 2022

INTRODUCTION
1. In its July 2022 Monetary Policy Statement, MAS re-centred the mid-point of the Singapore dollar nominal effective exchange rate (S$NEER) policy band up to the then-prevailing level of the S$NEER. There was no change to the slope and width of the band. While Singapore’s growth momentum was expected to slow, MAS had assessed that it was prudent to tighten monetary policy further and lean against price pressures becoming more persistent. This was its fourth tightening move since October 2021.

US Federal Agencies Announce Threshold For Smaller Loan Exemption From Appraisal Requirements For Higher-Priced Mortgage Loans

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Reserve Board, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency today announced that the 2023 threshold for exempting loans from special appraisal requirements for higher-priced mortgage loans will increase from $28,500 to $31,000.

US Federal Agencies Announce Dollar Thresholds In Regulation Z And Regulation M For Exempt Consumer Credit And Lease Transactions

The Federal Reserve Board and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau today announced the dollar thresholds used to determine whether certain consumer credit and lease transactions in 2023 are exempt from Regulation Z (Truth in Lending) and Regulation M (Consumer Leasing).
