US Department Of Justice: Former Investment Banker And Registered Broker Arrested For Operating Cryptocurrency Investment Fraud Scheme

A former investment banker, who was a registered broker with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, was arrested yesterday in Brooklyn, New York, on criminal charges related to his alleged role in operating a cryptocurrency investment fraud scheme.

ISDA-Clarus RFR Adoption Indicator: March 2023

The ISDA-Clarus RFR Adoption Indicator increased to an all-time high of 56.6% in March 2023 compared to 52.9% in February 2023. The indicator tracks how much global trading activity (as measured by DV01) is conducted in cleared over-the-counter and exchange-traded interest rate derivatives (IRD) that reference the identified risk-free rates (RFRs) in eight major currencies. On a traded notional basis, the percentage of RFR-linked IRD rose to 52.3% of total IRD transacted in March 2023 compared to 49.1% the prior month.

IMF Executive Board Concludes Review Of The Implementation Of The Framework For Enhanced Engagement On Governance

• This Review provides an in-depth stocktaking of the Fund’s engagement on governance and corruption since the adoption of the Fund’s ‘Framework for Enhanced Engagement on Governance’ adopted by the Executive Board in April 2018 (‘the 2018 Framework’).
• The Review papers find that Fund engagement with member countries on governance and corruption has been broadly systematic, candid, effective, and evenhanded, in line with the objectives of the 2018 Framework.
• The Review papers also provide concrete proposals to strengthen engagement in these areas, guided by macro-criticality and core expertise of the Fund.

The MIAX Exchange Group will be participating in the 2023 SIFMA BCP Testing on Saturday, October 14, 2023.  All Members that are required to test with MIAX Options, MIAX Pearl Options, MIAX Emerald Options and/or MIAX Pearl Equities Exchanges in accordance with Regulation Systems Compliance and Integrity (Regulation SCI) were notified on April 4th and April 5th, 2023.  However, all Members are encouraged to test.
