The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced that Judge Richard G. Andrews of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware entered a consent order against Argent Asset Group LLC (Argent) and First State Depository Company, LLC (FSD) on June 20. In addition, on June 30, the court entered an order of default judgment and permanent injunction against Robert Higgins (Higgins).

SEC Charges “Smart” Window Manufacturer, View Inc., With Failing To Disclose $28 Million Liability - SEC Declines To Impose Civil Penalties Because Of Company’s Self-Report, Remediation, And Cooperation

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced settled charges against a California-based manufacturer of “smart” windows, View Inc., for failing to disclose $28 million in projected warranty-related liabilities to address a particular defect in its windows. The SEC decided not to impose civil penalties against View because the company self-reported the misconduct to the SEC, promptly undertook remedial measures, and cooperated with the staff’s investigation. The SEC also announced charges against View’s former CFO, Vidul Prakash, for his failure to ensure that the warranty-related liabilities were disclosed.

As at close of business on 30 June 2023, London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSEG) confirms that its share capital consists of a total of 558,334,333 ordinary shares made up of: (i) 500,190,076 ordinary shares of 6 79/86 pence each (excluding treasury shares); (ii) 51,124,377 limited-voting ordinary shares of 6 79/86 pence each, which carry one-tenth of a vote each; and (iii) 7,019,880 ordinary shares held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in LSEG on 30 June 2023 is 505,302,514. The above figure of 505,302,514 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, LSEG under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
