BNP Paribas Asset Management (‘BNPP AM’) announces the appointment of Geoff Dailey as Deputy Head of US Equities, with effect from February 2023.  He will succeed Pamela Woo as Head of US Equities following her planned retirement at the end of June 2023.  Pamela retires after a long and successful career spanning 30 years in the industry, including almost 20 years at BNPP AM.

Inflows Of US$117m Last Week, Bitcoin The Investor Favourite - CoinShares: Fund Flows

• Digital asset investment products saw US$117m inflows last week, the largest since July 2022, while total asset under management (AuM) have risen to US$28bn, up 43% from their November 2022 lows.
• The focus was almost entirely on Bitcoin, which saw US$116m inflows last week, although there were also minor inflows into short-bitcoin of US$4.4m.
• Multi-asset investment products saw outflows for the 9th consecutive week totalling US$6.4m, suggesting investors are preferring select investments.

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has reprimanded and fined Cardinalasia Consulting Limited (CCL) $1.5 million over its failures in acting as a principal investment adviser to five private funds between August 2014 and October 2017 after the Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal (SFAT) upheld the SFC’s disciplinary action against it.
