NYSE Announces Third-Quarter 2002 Financial Results

The New York Stock Exchange reported revenues of $632.7 million and net income of $21.0 million in the first nine months of 2002, as compared with $662.2 million and $48.3 million during the same period a year ago.

The Chairman of Capital Market Opportunity Center (CMOC), Ms. Sopawadee Lertmanaschai, disclosed that two listed companies on the MAI: Traffic Corner Holdings Plc. and Daidomon Group Plc., have increased their registered capital up to be higher than 200 million baht and wish to move to list on the SET. (CME) today announced a start date of Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003 (for a trade date of Monday, Jan. 27, 2003) for the exchange's Eagle Project, which will permit electronic calendar spread trading on its GLOBEX® electronic trading platform.
