Nasdaq Liffe Markets Announces New Product Listing - 6 New Stocks Added - Taking NQLX Listing To 91 Products

Nasdaq Liffe Markets, LLC (NQLX) announced today the addition of six new single stock futures beginning February 24, 2003. These listings will be activated on the same day as four new Russell iShares exchange traded fund (ETF) futures. These additions take the total NQLX products to 91, including futures on 83 individual stocks and 8 ETFs.

Futures & Options On RTS Stock Exchange: Open Position Record

On February 19th, 2003, a new open position record was registered on FORTS (Futures &Options on RTS) - 394 thousand contracts, including 342 thousand futures contracts and 52 thousand contracts (total underlying value equaled 721 million rubles). This figure exceeds the previous record of 348 thousand contracts posted on January 13th, 2003.

Double First For Amsterdam: Euronext Amsterdam And Rabobank Start Listing Money Market Instruments

The Amsterdam financial community is celebrating a double first today. As from today, Euronext is offering issuers the possibility of listing short-term debt instruments, specifically certificates of deposit (CDs) issued by financial institutions and commercial paper (CP) issued by businesses. Deutsche Börse: First Asian ETF In XTF Segment

The first Asian exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the XTF segment, the Fresco Dow Jones Japan Titans 100, started trading on Thursday. The ETF is issued by UBS Global Asset Management under the brand name Fresco Index Shares and tracks the Dow Jones Japan Titans 100 index. The Dow Jones Japan Titans 100 index comprises the 100 largest Japanese equities.

The MICEX Introduces A Continuous Trading Session On The Government Securities Market With The Effecting Of Settlements In The Course Of Trades

To improve the technique of trade on the government securities market, the MICEX has launched today a continuous trading session (from 11:00 till 16:45), keeping the existing time of clearing and settlements for transactions (13:00 and 16:45, Moscow time). Stockholm Stock Exchange: Adjustment Of Minimum Fee For Large Transactions Involving Ericsson Options

Stockholmsbörsen has decided to temporarily reduce the minimum fee for large transactions involving Ericsson options. The adjustment of the minimum fee will facilitate increased trade. The change in fees is expected to have a marginal impact on Stockholmsbörsen's total revenues.
