NYBOT Announces Revisions To Trading Hours For Coffee "C" And Reuters CRB Index Contracts

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that effective with the move to the new trading facility on Tuesday, September 2, 2003, trading hours for the Coffee "C" futures and options contracts shall be from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (all times NY), and trading hours for the Reuters CRB Index futures and options contracts shall be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.*

CME's Electronic Euro FX Volume Sets Record On GLOBEX

Electronically traded Euro currency (Euro FX) futures traded on Chicago Mercantile Exchange's (CME) GLOBEX trading platform reached a record 53,443 contracts yesterday, Aug. 21. The underlying value of yesterday's electronic Euro FX volume totaled $7.3 billion.

The total number of year-to-date graduates has increased to 29. This represents 45.3% of the senior market's new listings this year compared to 16.1% for the same period last year. Additionally, 5 TSX Venture companies were acquired/merged with TSX listed companies in 2003.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, August 21, 2003: Garda World Security Corporation (TSXVN:GW) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. The company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange as a result of its graduation to the TSX, where it will trade under the ticker "GW."

SEC: Visiting Academic Scholar Appointed To The Office Of Economic Analysis

NYMEX To Increase Unleaded Gasoline Margins

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced today that it will increase the margins on its unleaded gasoline futures contracts, New York harbor gasoline calendar swap futures contracts, and unleaded gasoline crude oil crack spreads contracts for the September 2003 contract month at the close of business tomorrow.
