  • Nasdaq Liffe Markets Announces Additional Security Futures Contracts - QQQ 1000 Share Contract Introduced

    Nasdaq Liffe Markets, LLC (NQLX) announced today the listing of 10 additional security futures, as well as a new future based on 1000 shares of the QQQ. These new listings add to the 14 security futures contracts that include futures on NASDAQ and Russell-based exchange traded funds. The new contracts will be available as of market opening on Wednesday, November 20, 2002.

  • London Stock Exchange To Offer Bonds

    Van der Moolen UK Ltd today became the first firm to offer trading in fixed income securities through the London Stock Exchange's RSP Gateway. The Gateway now enables private client brokers to access prices and execute trades in equities, covered warrants and fixed income securities.

  • HKex: Mini-HSI Options' First-Day Trading Volume

    Trading volume for Mini-Hang Seng Index (Mini-HSI) Options, which were introduced today, was 171 contracts, comprising 158 calls and 13 puts. Today's trading volume for Hang Seng Index Options was 7,727 contracts, comprising 4,726 calls and 3,001 puts.

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) received reports this morning of some information vendors having difficulties translating data on Mini-HSI Options for display on their systems.

  • Deutsche Börse: Six New Actively Managed Funds In XTF

    Deutsche Börse is further expanding its XTF segment with six new actively managed funds. Since Monday, four new actively managed equity funds and two new actively managed bond funds are tradable in XTF. The six funds are issued by Xavex Sicav, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank. Xavex has been represented in the XTF segment with its fixed-income fund Xavex Dynamic Bond Portfolio since May 2002.
