  • Minneapolis Grain Exchange Set To Launch New Wheat Index Contracts

    The Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) announced today that the MGEX board of directors has approved rules and regulations for Soft Red Wheat Index (SRI) and Hard Spring Wheat Index (SWI) futures and options. Pending ownership approval, the contracts are scheduled to launch December 19, 2003 on the exchange's electronic trading platform, MGEXpress®.

    Today marked the commencement of SWX Swiss Exchange trading in 2 new XMTCH ETFs on Swiss Confederation bonds. XMTCHes are registered investment funds established in accordance with Swiss law. The initiator and asset manager of these XMTCHes is Credit Suisse Asset Management. XMTCHes are listed and traded in SWX's Exchange Traded Funds segment, which currently comprises 18 ETF issues.
