The amount of trading on SETSTM, the London Stock Exchange's electronic order book, continued to increase in March 2004 with a record total number of trades.
Israel- Revision To The S&P/IFCG S&P/IFCI Price & Total Return Indices

S&P/IFCG and S&P/IFCI Price and Total Return indices for Israel have been revised downwards by 137 and 136 basis points, respectively, for April 5, 2004. The revised index levels reflect the corrected prices for the S&P/EMDB Israel Index constituents on April 5, 2004 The S&P/IFCI ME & Africa Regional Index was also revised Downward by 37 basis points. The corrected figures appear below:

Euronext Introduces Incentive Scheme For Dutch Securities

Today Euronext announced the introduction of an incentive scheme to further enhance liquidity in its growing Dutch cash market which will potentially make the trading of Dutch securities up to 30% cheaper for its members, depending on their trading activity.
CBOT: New Dow Divisor April 8, 2004

Starting with Thursday, April 8 stock market trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIASM ) will be calculated with a new divisor because of the removal of T (AT & T Corp.), IP (International Paper Co.) and EK (Eastman Kodak Co.). These three stocks will be replaced by AIG (American International Group), PFE (Pfizer Inc), and VZ (Verizon Communications Inc.) As a result, the divisor for the 30 Industrials changes to 0.14090166 from 0.13500289.

ASX Quarterly Update Nine months to 31 March 2004

Australian Stock Exchange Limited (ASX) today announced an unaudited operating profit after tax of $63.1 million for the nine months to 31 March 2004, an increase of 36.9% when compared with the $46.0 million recorded for the corresponding nine months to 31 March 2003.
