OneChicago, LLC today announced that 97,697 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in May. Open interest stood at 136,623 contracts May 28. Each single stock futures contract is equivalent to 100 shares of the underlying stock or exchange-traded fund.
NZX Bond Indices Launch

New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) is pleased to announce that it will take over the calculation of the CSFB New Zealand Government Bond and Bank Bill Indices and the CSFB New Zealand Corporate Bond Indices from today, 1 June 2004. These indices will be known as the NZX New Zealand Government Bond and Bank Bill Indices and the NZX New Zealand Corporate Bond Indices.

On 1 June 2004, the General Assembly of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) decided to grant a Full Member’s status to the National Stock Exchange of Lithuania (NSEL) in the FESE.

Ljubljana Stock Exchange Becomes A Full Member Of The Federation Of European Securities Exchanges (FESE)

On 1 June 2004, at the convening of the General Assembly of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, formerly an Associate Member, has become a full member of that important European organisation. The securities exchanges of Bratislava, Cyprus, Malta, Prague, Tallinn, Budapest, Lithuania, Riga and Warsaw were also admitted to full-time FESE membership.
