SEC Votes To Propose Changes In SRO Governance And Issue Related Concept Release

The Securities and Exchange Commission at an open meeting today voted to propose new rules and amend existing rules and forms under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 relating to the governance, transparency, oversight, and ownership of self-regulatory organizations (SROs), and to issue a concept release examining the efficacy of self-regulation.

QQQ To List On NASDAQ

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ(R)) (OTC Bulletin Board: NDAQ) and the American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today announced that the NASDAQ-100 Index Tracking Stock(R) (Amex: QQQ) will transfer its listing to NASDAQ from Amex, effective December 1, 2004. It will trade on NASDAQ under the symbol "QQQQ."
