Elections for the Exchange Councils of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) and Eurex Germany will take place on November 11, as announced by both the FWB and Eurex on Tuesday. Election nominations can be submitted to the election committees at both exchanges until September 10.

The share turnover in July amounted to DKK 35.0 billion, which corresponds to an average daily turnover of DKK 1.6 billion. Compared with the month of June, the average daily turnover has decreased by 39 per cent. In comparison with July 2003, the share turnover is up 23 per cent, and the share trading this year has thus month-by-month surpassed the share trading of the corresponding months in 2003.

In advance of next week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on August 10, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P ADR Indices, effective at the close of trading on Friday, August 6, 2004: TeliaSonera AB (ADR) (Sweden, NASDAQ: TLSN, CUSIP: 87960M106, Sedol: 2166289) will be removed from the S&P ADR Indices.
