CBOT To Launch Ethanol Futures On Wednesday, March 23 - Exchange Appoints Noble Americas Corp. As Market Maker For New Futures Contract

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) announced today that the Exchange will launch its CBOT Ethanol futures contract on Wednesday, March 23, at 10 a.m. Central Time. Further, the Exchange has selected Noble Americas Corp. as a market maker to provide continuous two-sided markets in the new contract.

On 18 January 2005, the SWX Swiss Exchange announced that it had instigated preliminary investigations into Swissquote Group Holding Ltd. (Swissquote) in connection with a possible breach of ad-hoc publicity regulations. The SWX has since looked into whether Swissquote revealed potentially price-sensitive facts in an interview between its CEO and the Tages-Anzeiger newspaper. The 23 listed companies on the mai (Market for Alternative Investment) recently announced their 2004 operational performances. In 2004, the mai listed companies collectively recorded THB1.035 bln. (approx. USD 25.875 mln.) in net profits, equivalent to an average 29% growth. The mai listed firms were led by four companies - Interlink Communication Pcl. (ILINK), CM Organizer Pcl. (CMO), Unique Mining Service Pcl., and Porn Prom Metal Pcl. having 344%, 205%, 188% and 150% growths respectively.
