Upon full implementation of the Global Clearing Link, Eurex, through its U.S. market Eurex US, will significantly increase the distribution of its global benchmark products, the world's largest derivatives exchange Eurex said on Monday. Eurex made the statement as its U.S. partner in the Global Clearing Link, the Chicago-based Clearing Corporation (CCorp), formally requested permission to proceed with the second phase of the Global Clearing Link from the U.S. regulator Commodity Futures Trading

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (“NASDAQ®”; NASDAQ: NDAQ) today announced that it has signed agreements with the leading Russian Stock Exchanges. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with The RTS Stock Exchange (RTS) and a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX). Euronext Reports Solid Full Year Results For 2004

Euronext NV reports today its results for 2004. The financial results for the full year are solid; owing to its balanced business mix Euronext’s revenues grew by 2.4 %. Ongoing proactive cost management enabled the company to maintain expenses nearly flat despite € 14.5 million of exceptional costs related to the completion of the derivatives migration in the 4th quarter of 2004 and GL Trade’s multiple acquisitions.

Clearstream Launches Real-Time Night Settlement For The German Market - Next Step Forward For The Settlement Market

On 14 March 2005, Clearstream Banking AG successfully launched additional real-time processing between 1.30am and 5.30am for the high volume of settlements at nighttime. This means that the CASCADE settlement system is one of the few in Europe which is available to customers 18 hours a day.
