Bursa Malaysia Depository: Improved Efficiency In Depository Operations Through eRAPID

Bursa Malaysia Depository Sdn Bhd will launch eRAPID, a web-based solution which will facilitate electronic transmission of Record of Depositors (RODs) and Central Depository System (CDS) Circulars. eRAPID, which will improve turnaround time for dissemination of RODs and enhance overall efficiency of Depository operations has received approval from the Securities Commission (SC) and will be launched later this month.

Archipelago Holdings, Inc. (PCX: AX) today announced its April 2005 market transaction volume data for the Archipelago Exchange (ArcaEx(R)). Specifically, in NYSE- listed equity securities, ArcaEx's total trading market share was 3.2% in April 2005, up from 1.7% in April 2004 and up from 2.7% in March 2005.

At a total trading volume of EUR 5.8bn in April 2005, Wiener Börse attained the highest trading volume of all times by far in the equity market. UK’s Financial Services Authority: Courtover Investment Management Ltd Fined £20,000 For Approving Misleading Financial Promotion

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has fined Courtover Investment Management Ltd for approving a misleading financial promotion for the issue of unlisted shares in a separate property investment company, Overseas Property Investments plc. As is required by FSA rules, Overseas Property Investments plc (which is neither regulated by the FSA nor required to be so) sought approval of the promotion from a regulated firm, in this case Courtover Investment Management Ltd, before issuing it.
