International Council of Securities Associations Releases 2005 Annual Meeting Brief

The International Council of Securities Associations (ICSA) this week released its 2005 communiqué at its annual meeting in Lugano, Switzerland. ICSA endorsed a number of initiatives aimed at aiding and encouraging the sound growth of international securities markets. HRW Wheat Crop Tour Results In - 2005 Hard Red Winter Wheat Tour Estimate For Kansas At 46.2 Bushels Per Acre

The final estimate for the 2005 hard red winter wheat tour sponsored by the Wheat Quality Council was announced today at the Kansas City Board of Trade. The final participant estimate for the three-day tour average was a yield of 46.2 bushels per acre, 8.8 bushels higher than the 2004 estimate of 37.4 bushels per acre.

EEX´ CO2 Emission Allowances Trading With A Restrained Start - 88 Participants In The First Eight Weeks – So Far About 150.000 Allowances Traded – Nationwide Road Show To Inform About Exchange Trading

The CO2 emission allowances trading at the European En-ergy Exchange (EEX) is restrained so far. While already 88 of the altogether 113 EEX´s Spot Market participants are activated for CO2 trades in the first eight weeks, only 144.700 of these allowances were traded. Each of them entitles to an emission of one ton of CO2. The current price is 16.00 Euro, the highest price so far was 17.70 Euro on April 20, the first and – till now – lowest quotation was 10.40 Euro on March 9th.
