Weekend schedule to accommodate energy market participants during Hurricane Rita: IPE Brent and Gas Oil futures and options trading hours: begin at 7:15 PM ET on Saturday, September 24. These futures markets will be available continuously through 5 PM ET Monday, September 26. Trading hours in ICE’s OTC markets will be continuous through the weekend, with the first maintenance window occurring at 6:30 PM ET Monday.

The New York Mercantile Exchange determined to make a finding of force majeure with respect to all remaining delivery obligations in the September natural gas futures contract effective as of yesterday’s declaration by Sabine. Accordingly, any further action by the Exchange will be undertaken pursuant to its authority as set forth in NYMEX rule 220.18, in particular rule 220.18 section (C)(6).
