Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, October 10, 2006: CanAlaska Ventures Ltd. (TSXVN:CVV) will change its name to CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. The company will continue to trade under the ticker symbol "CVV" but with the new CUSIP number 13708P 10 2. ISE Launches New Natural Gas Index
