NYSE Regulation Approves Proposal To Allow Single Public Arbitrator To Decide Cases Up To $200,000

NYSE Regulation, Inc. announced today that the Board of Directors of NYSE Regulation approved a proposal which provides that all arbitration claims up to $200,000 be decided by a single public arbitrator. The rule proposal will be filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for final approval.

London Stock Exchange: 2006 Already A Record Year For IPO Money Raising - July SETS trades up 33 per cent

2006 has already become a record year for money raising through IPOs on the London Stock Exchange. So far this year, IPOs on the Exchange's markets have raised £17.8 billion, exceeding the £17.4 billion raised by IPOs during the whole of 2000.

ICE Futures Sets Exchange-Wide And ICE WTI Crude Futures Volume And Open Interest Records - Total Contract Volume Exceeds Half Million For First Time

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace, announced that ICE Futures, its regulated futures subsidiary, established new records in trading volume both exchange-wide and in its WTI Crude futures contracts on August 7. Total volume for ICE Futures reached 567,361 contracts, surpassing the July 19, 2006 record of 497,692 contracts by 14.0%. For the first time in the exchange’s 25-year history, total volume exceeded a half million contracts.

Eurex Connects First Member From Singapore - Transmarket Group To Be First Eurex Member To Trade Directly From Singapore

CBOT Binary Options on the Target Federal Funds Rate expiring in August 2006 will be cash settled today (in accord with CBOT Regulation 2036.01) with reference to a Contract Grade Index value of 94.75. The Contract Grade Index value is based upon a target federal funds rate of 5.25 percent, as determined and published by the Federal Open Market Committee today, Tuesday, 8 August 2006.
