CBOE Seat Sale Sets New Record Price Today; $1,525,000 Tops Record Set Last Week

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that a CBOE membership, or seat, traded today at $1,525,000, topping the previous record price of 1,505,000 which was set last week on October 18th.

Li & Fung Limited will increase its index shares from 3,241,250,000 to 3,406,102,000 due to a placement of existing shares and issue of new stock. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today settled civil fraud charges against the former Chief Financial Officer of Comverse Technology, Inc., David Kreinberg, under an agreement which provides for the payment of nearly $2.4 in disgorgement and prejudgment interest, a permanent injunction, a permanent officer-and-director bar, and suspension from appearing or practicing before the Commission as an accountant.
