President Zhu Congjiu of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) spoke yesterday at the 6th China Securities Investment Funds Forum International that the SSE would introduce the Corporate Governance Sector and relevant indices. China Securities Index Co., Ltd. (CSI) has recently announced that the official launch of the CSI Aggregate Bond Index will be released on December 17, to synchronize with the price fluctuation on the inter-bank bond market and on the bond market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE). Meanwhile, the CSI Aggregate Bond Index will serve the investors as an analysis tool and a performance appraisal benchmark.

Lehman Brothers, the global investment bank, today announced an agreement to acquire certain assets related to Van der Moolen Specialists, including its New York Stock Exchange portfolio of listed company specialist's assignments and certain technology. Chicago Climate Futures Exchange Announces New Records

Chicago Climate Futures Exchange™ (CCFE™), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chicago Climate Exchange® Inc. (CCX®), announced today in the first 11 months of 2007, CCFE traded 250,018 contracts compared to 28,924 contracts for the entire year 2006. In November, CCFE also reported record open interest in Sulfur Financial Instrument™ (SFI™) futures (23,689 contracts) and SFI options (27,610 contracts).

CBOE'S Average Daily Volume Of 4.6 Million Contracts During November Is A New All-Time High - Total Volume Increases 62% Over 2006 To 97.2 Million Contracts, Year-To-Date Volume Is 40% Ahead Of Previous Year

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that average daily volume during November totaled 4,626,640 contracts, a new all-time high for the Exchange. November's record average daily volume exceeded the previous high of 4,589,206 contracts during August 2007. For the month of November, CBOE traded a total of 97,159,445 contracts, up 62% from the 59,827,503 contracts traded during November 2006.
