  • Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

    Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The unitholders of Calpine Power Income Fund (TSX:CF.UN) have accepted the $CDN13.00 cash offer from Harbinger Capital Partners. Calpine Power Income Fund will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap, the S&P/TSX Capped Utilities and the S&P/TSX Income Trust Indices. The transaction will be effective after the close of Wednesday, February 14, 2007.
