NYMEX To Launch Four New Electricity Options Contracts

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. today announced that it will list four new electricity options contracts for trading on the NYMEX trading floor and for clearing on NYMEX ClearPort® beginning on December 17 for trade date December 18.

Securities And Exchange Commission: Fee Rate Advisory #5 for Fiscal Year 2007

The continuing resolution funding the Securities and Exchange Commission for fiscal 2007 since Oct. 1, 2006, has been extended further through Feb. 15, 2007. Therefore, fees paid under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 13(e), 14(g) and 31 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 will remain at their current rates.

CBOE Seat Sells For New Record Of $1.775 Million - Surpasses Previous All-Time High Set Last Week

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that a CBOE membership, or seat, traded Wednesday, December 6th, for $1,775,000, a new all-time high at CBOE. And yesterday, a seat was sold for $1,750,000. Both seat sales topped the previous record-setting price of $1,700,000 on December 1, 2006.

Euronext Welcomes MW Tops - Largest Hedge Fund On Euronext In 2006 Raises € 1.5 Billion

MW Tops, a fund managed by Marshall Wace LLP, the largest publicly traded closed-end hedge fund in Europe, was listed today on Euronext Amsterdam, raising €1.5 billion in a substantially oversubscribed placement of Euro, Sterling and Dollar denominated shares.
