CBOT Announced May 14 E-CBOT Launch Date For Mini-Sized Ag Contracts

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) yesterday announced that it will launch CBOT mini-sized Ag futures contracts on its e-cbot® electronic trading platform on May 14, 2007. The contracts will include mini-sized Corn, mini-sized Soybeans and mini-sized Wheat contracts.

NYBOT Softs Set Third Daily Electronic Volume Record This Week

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace and soft commodity exchange, announced a third daily electronic trading record this week at the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT), with 152,598 futures contracts trading on Thursday, April 12. The record replaces the previous high established on Tuesday, April 10, of 149,389 contracts.
CESR Starts Work On A Request For Assistance From The EU Commission On Key Investor Disclosure For UCITS, And Invites All Interested Parties To Submit Their Views Via Three Calls For Evidence

On 11 April 2007 CESR received from the Commission a letter requesting CESR´s assistance on detailed content and form of key investor disclosures for UCITS. The request clarifies the purpose and objective of the request, the focus of the work to be undertaken by CESR and the proposed organisation of the work and the time-table.
New Names Of The Legal Entities Within OMX Nordic Exchange

CESR Re-Consults On The Draft Recommendations For Inducements Under MiFID

In its consultation paper Inducements under MiFID published in December 2006 (CESR/06-687), CESR explained that it was considering issuing recommendations to its Members with the aim of fostering supervisory convergence and consistent implementation of Article 26 of the MiFID Level 2 Directive. CESR is in the process of finalising these recommendations.
