Brazilian Mercantile & Futures Exchange (BM&F) Agricultural Commodities Up 44% From January To July

During the first seven months of 2007, BM&F’s agricultural markets (including futures, options, and ex-pit) added more than one million traded contracts. From January to July, 1.01 million contracts were traded, with a 44.9% growth in volume in comparison to the same period last year (697.84 thousand contracts). National Stock Exchange Announces July 2007 ETF Assets Reach $497.3 Billion At Month-End, Up 39.3 Percent From Year Earlier

National Stock Exchange(R) (NSX(SM)) today announced that U.S. listed Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) assets reached $497.3 billion at the end of July 2007, up 39.3 percent from $356.9 billion at the end of July 2006. ETF notional trading volume totaled a record $1.4 billion in July 2007, approximately 24 percent of the total U.S. cash equity notional trading volume.
KCBT Sets New Membership Sales Record At $525,000 - KCBT Membership Sells For More Than $500,000 For The First Time

The Kansas City Board of Trade on Friday set another membership sales record with a sale at $525,000, topping the previous record of $465,000 set on April 3 of this year. Last year at this time, the record was less than half this level, at $240,000.
