  • NYSE Euronext To Purchase CME Group Metals Complex

    NYSE Euronext, the world's leading and most liquid exchange group, and CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced that NYSE Euronext will purchase the CME Group's Metals Complex. Trading of full and e-mini gold and silver futures and options on futures contracts will begin later this year on LIFFE CONNECT(R), NYSE Euronext's derivatives trading system, pending regulatory approvals.

  • KCBT Announces Side-by-Side Options Trading

    The Kansas City Board of Trade Board of Directors has approved the addition of side-by-side trading in the hard red winter wheat options contract. A second daily electronic trading session will be added to mirror the open outcry trading hours of 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. This new daytime electronic session is in addition to the current after-hours trading session from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Friday.
