The SWX Swiss Exchange has established that Meyer Burger Technology AG has infringed the ad hoc publicity regulations of Art. 72 of the Listing Rules and the Directive on Ad hoc Publicity. The Sanction Commission of SWX has therefore issued a reprimand with related publication against Meyer Burger Technology AG.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, January 24, 2008: Pilot Energy Ltd. (TSXVN:PGY) will be removed from the index. The company will be delisted from TSX Venture Exchange as a result of a Plan of Arrangement with Crescent Point.

The CBOE Stock Exchange, LLC (CBSX), a subsidiary of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), announced that the exchange experienced the busiest day in its 10-month history as reported volume totaled 24,351,356 shares yesterday, January 23. This new high surpassed the previous single-day volume record of 17, 663,093 shares set on December 26, 2007.
