NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NMX), the parent company of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., the world's largest physical commodities futures and options exchange, today announced average daily volume for December 2007 of 1.335 million contracts, a 16% increase from 1.149 million contracts per day in December 2006.

CBOT Agricultural And Equity Index Products Begin Trading On CME Globex - Initial Phase Of e-cbot Products Transitioning To CME Globex Platform Is Complete

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse exchange, today announced that it has successfully completed the first phase of migrating the e-cbot futures and options on futures contracts on to its CME Globex(R) electronic trading platform. Beginning on Sunday, January 13, at 5:00 p.m., for a trade date of January 14, all e-cbot listed equity index products began trading electronically on CME Globex followed by all e-cbot listed agricultural products at 6:00 p.m.
