    Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The acquisition of Reuters Group PLC (LSE:RTR) by Thomson Corporation (TSX:TOC) has been completed. The transaction results in the creation of a dual listed company. The TSX-listed Thomson Corporation will be known as Thomson Reuters Corporation (TSX:TRI). There will be no capitalization change to the new Thomson Reuters in any S&P/TSX indices and the company will not be added to or deleted from any S&P
