Bursa Malaysia Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) today reported a net profit of RM70.7 million for the half-year ended 30 June 2008 - a 48% decline compared to the net profit of RM135.2 million for the corresponding period last year. Bursa Malaysia’s operating revenue dropped by 31% to RM164.1 million from RM239.2 million registered in the same period last year.
