ICE Futures U.S.(TM), a wholly owned subsidiary of IntercontinentalExchange, Inc., today announced the introduction of floor-based mini options, including serial options, on the mini Russell 1000(R) and mini Russell 2000(R) Index futures contracts. Beginning today, May 19, the mini Russell 1000 and mini Russell 2000 Index options will be available in open-outcry trading on the ICE Futures U.S. trading floor in New York. CME Group Lists Weather Contracts On Seven New Cities

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, announced that it is expanding its suite of temperature-based products and is offering weather contracts on six U.S. cities and one European city. Cooling Degree Day contracts are available for trading starting today with Heating Degree Day and Weekly contracts to start in June and July, respectively. <

New research ranks 22 of the world's leading jurisdictions for intellectual property (IP). The Global Intellectual Property Index (GIPI), launched earlier this month by European law firm Taylor Wessing, and created by Z/Yen Group, presents a statistical comparison of how jurisdictions are viewed in terms of ‘IP competitiveness’.
