DIFC Courts Announces New Appointments Of Registrar And Deputy Registrar

Instinet Incorporated, a global leader in electronic trading and agency-only brokerage services, today released Q3 2008 volume figures for its US-based subsidiary, Instinet, LLC. Average daily trading volume – 514,339,546 shares – and U.S. equity market share – 5.17 percent – for the quarter reached all-time highs for the firm, led by the 1,055,962,776 shares traded, including 122,154,334 in the Instinet CBXTM dark pool, on September 18.

Trayport And ICAP Energy Enter Into An Extended Three Year Agreement

Trayport Limited, a GFI Group company and a leading provider of multi-asset class electronic trading solutions, today extended its agreement with ICAP Energy for the use of Trayport’s GlobalVision Broker Trading System until at least 2011. ICAP Energy uses the system for broking European OTC energy and related physical and derivatives products. Eurex, As First European Exchange, To Launch Real Estate Derivatives - Derivatives On IPD Commercial Property Return Indices Scheduled For Q1 2009

The international derivatives exchange Eurex today announced that it has reached a license agreement with IPD (Investment Property Databank) and intends to launch futures on the total returns of Investment Property Databank (IPD) Property Indices. The new offering will be launched in the first quarter of 2009. The introduction represents for the first time that returns on European commercial property, one of the world’s largest asset classes, will be available at an exchange.

Order book turnover on all German stock exchanges in this security stood at around €65 million in July, increasing to just under €81 million in August and totaling around €142 million in September.
