(Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading global provider of network-neutral data centres and Internet exchange services, and ICAP (IAP.L), the world's premier interdealer broker, today announced that ICAP will expand its premium interconnectivity i-Cross service to Equinix's London-Slough (LD4) Internet Business Exchange (IBX®) data centre. The service is expected to be available by the end of this year.

  • NSX Releases September ETF/ETN Data Report

    National Stock Exchange, Inc. (NSX(R)) today announced that U.S. listed Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) and Exchange-Traded Note (ETN) assets reached $593.3 billion at the end of September 2008, an increase of almost 5 percent over $566.2 billion reached one year ago. In addition, net cash inflows for the month of September 2008 reached a new monthly record total of $57.2 billion.

  • Lowest Private Equity Quarterly Fundraising Figures Since Q1 2005 - Fundraising Starts To Suffer As Investors Become Increasingly Cautious

    The troubles affecting the global financial markets have taken their toll on private equity fundraising, with fundraising figures for Q3 2008 the lowest they have been since Q1 2005. As the table shows, there were a total of 117 funds achieving a final close worldwide in Q3 2008, with these vehicles raising an aggregate $82.3bn in capital. This is the lowest quarter since Q1 2005. It is likely that this number will increase slightly as additional information on funds closed in this period is mad
