Trayport Provides Brokers With The World’s First Electronic Trading Platform For Cross-Currency Basis Swaps

Trayport has announced its GlobalVision Trading System now has the capability to trade cross-currency basis swaps. This is the first time that an electronic trading platform has been developed with the capability to perform basis swaps for the broker market. The new functionality was developed for leading broker GFI Group Inc. and is also available to all inter-dealer brokers.

Today, it is up 4.14 points, or 1.92%. The index is up seven of the last nine trading days. The index is off -40.3% from 52 weeks ago. The Dow Jones STOXX 600 is off -45.8% from its record closing high of 405.50, hit on March 6, 2000. Month-to-date, it is down -1.1%.

C-Com has revised the components of the Natural Rubber Index. The new Index is to be traded from November 11, 2008 for the contract month of May 2009 and after. For the contract months until April 2009 the current Rubber Index remains to be traded.
