Component Changes Made To Dow Jones And Dow Jones Stoxx Select Dividend Indexes

Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, and STOXX Ltd., the leading provider of European equity indexes, today announced changes in several Dow Jones and Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend indexes.

On Wednesday, Deutsche Börse has decided on changes in its equity indices DAX®, MDAX®, SDAX® and TecDAX® that will take effect on 23 March 2009. The shares of Fresenius Pref and Hannover Rückversicherung will be included in DAX and will replace Infineon and Deutsche Postbank. The exclusion of Infineon and Deutsche Postbank was based on the fast-exit rule, the shares do no longer fulfill the market capitalization requirements of the DAX index.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today brought enforcement actions against 14 specialist firms for unlawful proprietary trading on several regional and options exchanges. The firms agreed to settle the SEC's charges by collectively paying nearly $70 million in disgorgement and penalties.
