CLS Adds Three Clients To Its Cross Currency Swaps Service

CLS, a market infrastructure group delivering settlement, processing and data solutions, today announces that three settlement members, including Barclays Bank and Danske Bank, have enrolled in its cross currency swaps (CCS) settlement service. They are joining a growing community of settlement members on the service, including some of the world’s largest banks. The service has witnessed continued growth in recent months, with a 38% year-on-year increase in the values of CCS submitted to CLSSettlement (H1 2023).

INSTINET Europe Limited Becomes New Member Of Spanish CCP & CSD

Instinet Europe Limited has reached an agreement to become a new general clearing member of the Spanish CCP BME Clearing, and a direct member of  the Spanish CSD Iberclear. Instinet will now have direct access to the BME’s Spanish CCP & CSD for post trade services for  their primary execution business in Spain as of August.

Contents of the Recommendation

The Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission today made a recommendation to the Prime Minister and the Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency that an administrative monetary penalty payment order be issued in regard to insider trading in the stock of ZOZO, Inc. (“ZOZO”) by an individual pursuant to Article 20(1) of the Act for Establishment of the Financial Services Agency. This recommendation is based on the findings of an investigation into a suspected instance of insider trading, whereby the following violation of laws and ordinances was identified.

The 2023 IAIS Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Conference (AC) will be held at the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba on November 9th and 10th, hosted by the Financial Services Agency (FSA). As the IAIS’ annual flagship event, the AC this year will cover a wide-range of key issues, including natural catastrophe protection gaps, evolving risks in the global insurance sector, customer-centric outcomes, tackling climate risks, and the Insurance Capital Standard (ICS).
