NYSE Euronext Celebrates 20th Anniversary Of CAC 40 - In 20 Years, The CAC 40 Has Become A Yardstick For The French Economy And An Internationally Recognized Benchmark
Today NYSE Euronext (NYX) celebrates the 20th anniversary of the CAC 40 index, the recognized benchmark for the French cash equity market. The index was officially launched on June 15, 1988 with a base value of 1,000 on December 31, 1987.

CFTC Obtains Order Against California-Based James J. Zhou And His Firm, Jade Trader, Requiring Payment Of Restitution To Defrauded Customers And Civil Monetary Penalties
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced that James J. Zhou and his company, Jade Trader, both formerly of Alhambra, California, will pay $127,135.96 in restitution and a $50,000 civil monetary penalty in an anti-fraud CFTC enforcement action.

TABB Group Comments On The NYSE plan To Overhaul Rules Governing Trading
In a move to turn around its slipping market share lost to electronic rivals, the New York Stock Exchange announced last Friday, June 13 plans to overhaul more than two dozen rules that govern trading. The plan, outlined in regulatory filings, may make it easier for traders to bid or offer shares and lure more trades to the exchange, said NYSE vice- president Todd Abrahall. The NYSE Euronext unit hopes to introduce its "new model" for trading in Q3 2008.

db Express WIG20 II, A New Structured Certificate On The Warsaw Stock Exchange
db Express WIG20 II is the second issue of express certificates (certificates with the issuer’s early redemption option) issued by Deutsche Bank and introduced to trading on the WSE on 13 June. WIG20 is the underlying instrument of the certificates. The structure of the certificates is the same as that of the instruments previously introduced to the WSE but they have different maturity and different barrier determination dates.
