Jasdaq Securities Exchange, Inc. (Jasdaq) today started using a trading system of Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE). At the same time, an operating system for equities products of OSE and Jasdaq have been shifted toward a system using the same distant trading continuity system as derivatives products of OSE.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, September 23, 2009: The shares of Challenger Energy Corp. (TSXV:CHQ) will be removed from the index. The shares of the company have been acquired by Canadian Superior Energy Inc. (TSX:SNG) pursuant to an Arrangement Agreement.
