NASDAQ OMX Announces Third Quarter 2009 New Listings Statistics - NASDAQ Captured 33 New Listings Including 12 IPOs And 7 Transfers From The NYSE Group

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced that The NASDAQ Stock Market(R) captured a total of 33 new listings in the third quarter, highlighted by 12 IPOs including Avago Technologies (Nasdaq:AVGO), a leading designer, developer and global supplier of analog semiconductor devices, and lithium-ion battery producer A123 Systems (Nasdaq:AONE).

Japan's Financial Services Agency: Administrative Action On BNP Paribas Securities (Japan) Limited

The Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC) conducted an inspection on BNP Paribas Tokyo Branch (hereinafter referred to as the ''Branch''), and found the following violation of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (hereinafter referred to as the ''FIEA''). On October 16, 2009 , the SESC recommended to take administrative action on the Branch.
