Spain And The MEASA Region Strengthen Economic Ties Through Strategic DIFC And Madrid Centro Financiero Partnership

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the financial and business hub serving the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region, announced today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the DIFC Authority and the Madrid Centro Financiero (MCF). The MoU supports bilateral relations and encourages investment between the MEASA region and Spain.
BM&FBOVESPA Posts Records For Mini Ibovespa Futures Contracts

BM&FBOVESPA posted an all-time record on Friday of 125,624 mini contracts traded in Ibovespa futures. This surpasses the previous record of 124,568, of May 21, 2010. Trading volume was also an all-time record, at R$ 1,744,919,163.00 The previous record was R$ 1,581,865,226.00 on May 6, 2010.

At the end of the settlement date of September 15, 2010, short interest in 2,386 NASDAQ Global Market(SM)securities totaled 7,335,423,205 shares compared with 7,272,092,128 shares in 2,391 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of August 31, 2010. The mid-September short interest represents 3.95 days average daily NASDAQ Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 3.91 days for the prior reporting period.
