Financial Stability Board: Promoting Global Adherence To Regulatory And Supervisory Standards On International Cooperation And Information Exchange - Progress Report

The Financial Stability Board in March 2010 commenced an initiative to encourage the adherence of all countries and jurisdictions to regulatory and supervisory standards on international cooperation and information exchange, including by identifying non-cooperative jurisdictions and assisting them to improve their adherence.

DIC Asset AG is issuing a corporate bond in Deutsche Börse’s Entry Standard. The bond can be subscribed from 5 May with ISIN DE000A1KQ1N3. The DIC Asset AG bond has a volume of up to €100 million, runs for five years and has an interest rate of 5.875 percent. The nominal denomination is €1,000.

TOM MTF Market Data Included In Thomson Reuters European Real-Time Feeds

TOM (The Order Machine) is pleased to announce that as of 3 May 2011 Thomson Reuters will include TOM MTF market data in their European real-time feeds. TOM MTF’s quote and trade data will be distributed real-time, which will enable TOM MTF to reach a significant part of the investment community.

SEC Halts Ponzi Scheme By Co-Founder Of China Voice Holding Corp.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that it has obtained a court order freezing the assets of China Voice Holding Corp., which trades in over-the-counter markets and has claimed to have a portfolio of telecommunications products and services in both the U.S. and China. The SEC alleges that China Voice's co-founder and his two associates are operating an $8.6 million Ponzi scheme and misusing its proceeds, in part, to help fund the company's operations.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For China Unicom Futures

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 4 May 2011, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.
