At the meeting of the Board of Governors held recently by the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), SSE Governor Geng Liang pointed out that the SSE should promote the concept of value investing and support the investment of long-term funds into the market. The meeting discussed the 2012 SSE work plan and focused on the research in the issues related to the issuance of SME private placement bonds on the exchange and the further promotion of the SSE's innovation work.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

The unitholders of Whiterock REIT (TSX:WRK.UN) have accepted the cash and share takeover offer from Dundee REIT (TSX:D.UN). Whiterock REIT will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index after the close of Monday, March 5, 2012.

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today filed and simultaneously settled charges that IAG Capital Management, LLC (IAG) and William Patrick Kelly of Weston, Conn., who operated a $6 million commodity pool called the IAG Multi Strategy Fund LP, wrongfully used more than $320,000 of pool participants’ funds for Kelly’s personal use, made false statements to the National Futures Association (NFA), and commingled pool participants’ funds with their own funds.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

The Toronto Stock Exchange announced today in the Daily Bulletin that the shares of Quest Rare Minerals Ltd. (TSXVN:QRM) will graduate to trade on TSX at the open of trading on Thursday, March 1, 2012. The ticker symbol will remain "QRM" and the CUSIP number will remain 74836T 10 1. The company will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, February 29, 2012.
