NYSE Euronext Launches NYSE Century Club And NYSE Century Index - Recognizes Innovative And Transformative U.S. Companies With At Least 100 Years Of History - Launch Coincides With CEO Forum And 220th Anniversary Of NYSE’s Founding

NYSE Euronext (NYX) today introduced the NYSE Century Club and the NYSE Century IndexSM. The NYSE Century Club recognizes companies that have realized success and contributed to economic and social progress for more than 100 years. In conjunction with the launch, CEOs from representative companies will participate in an inaugural forum on innovation and transformation at the NYSE today, which marks the 220th anniversary of the founding of the Exchange.

Deutsche Börse And CFFEX Signed Co-Operation Agreement

Deutsche Börse and China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Beijing. The parties agreed on a co-operation and an extensive exchange of information in order to facilitate the further development of both financial markets.

PLUS Markets Group Statement Regarding Press Speculation

The Board of PLUS Markets Group plc ("PLUS" or the "Group") notes the recent press speculation and makes the following update to shareholders.
The Group can confirm that it is in talks with ICAP plc that may lead to the disposal of its subsidiary company PLUS Stock Exchange plc ("PLUS-SX"), the cash equities recognised investment exchange for a nominal amount due to the loss making nature of PLUS-SX. As indicated in previous announcements, the board believe that this would be in the best interests of shareholders to preserve remaining shareholder value. There can, however, be no certainty that a transaction will complete.
