Ministry Of Finance And HKEx Sign MOU

The Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China (MOF) and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today (Friday) on the listing and trading of RMB-denominated sovereign bonds in Hong Kong.

Eurex: Exchange Council Approves Introduction Of New Trading Architecture - Gradual Migration From December 2012 - Clients To Benefit From Minimal Latency, Maximum Data Throughput And Increased Flexibility

The Eurex Exchange Council unanimously approved the planned introduction of a completely new trading architecture at its regular meeting. This approval meets a major legal requirement. The introduction of the new trading system will, among other things, also require an amendment to the Exchange Rules to also be approved by the Exchange Council. The migration is scheduled to begin in December 2012, with products transferred from the current to the new system in four stages.
KDPW Management Board Appointed For A New Term

The Ordinary General Shareholders Meeting of the National Depository for Securities (KDPW SA) convened on 19 June 2012 appointed Dr Iwona Sroka as President of the KDPW Management Board for a new term. Iwona Sroka was first appointed President of the KDPW Management Board on 30 July 2009. The General Meeting also adopted a decision concerning distribution of the 2011 net profit and changed the composition of the Supervisory Board of KDPW SA.

NZX advises that the Country Court of Victoria has ruled that Australian entity RALEC be awarded AUD$34,761.71 (plus interest and costs), an amount claimed to have been incurred by RALEC shareholder Grant Thomas in the course of his six-month employment by NZX between November 2009 and April 2010.
Unsponsored Depositary Receipts Will Not Be Eligible For S&P/ASX Indices

S&P Indices (S&P) and the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today announced, following market consultation, Unsponsored Depositary Receipts (UDRs) will not immediately be made eligible for inclusion in the S&P/ASX index suite.
