UK's Financial Services Authority: Insider Dealers Ordered To Pay £1.5m In Confiscation

In a case brought by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and heard at Southwark Crown Court, Confiscation Orders (the Orders) totalling £1,534,000 were made today against Christian Littlewood and Angie Littlewood. They were each ordered to pay £767,000 representing the benefit obtained by each of them from insider dealing.

Companies listed on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai), under The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) group, reported a 18.9 percent increase in net profit to THB 2.64 billion (approx. USD 82.5 million) in the first six months of 2012, mainly supported by costs control.

BrokerTec, ICAP’s global electronic fixed income trading platform and MTS, a leading fixed income trading venue in Europe, which is majority owned by London Stock Exchange Group, are launching a daily repo index series for the sovereign bond markets of the main eurozone countries. The series will include an index for each of the sovereign bond markets of Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium and Finland and will be launched in Q4 2012.
