    The value of ASX-listed stocks, as measured by the All Ordinaries Index, rose 5.5% in July 2013. This performance was in line with other major markets, including the UK up 6.5%, Hong Kong up 5.2%, the US up 4.9%, Germany up 4.0% and Singapore up 2.3%. Japan was down 0.1%.

  • BATS BZX Exchange System Status Update

    BATS Global Markets reported an outage that lasted nearly an hour due to an internal network problem. BATS was unable to accept orders to its BZX exchange between 13:10 and 14:00 EST. 

  • HKEx Kicks Off Series of Events To Mark 20th Anniversary Of H-share Listings

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited kicked off a series of events to mark the 20th anniversary of H-share listings today (Tuesday) with a ceremony with representatives of the six companies that listed H shares in 1993, Tsingtao Brewery, Shanghai Petrochemical, Beiren Printing Machinery, Guangzhou Shipyard, Maanshan Iron & Steel and Kunming Machine Tool.
