The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about the websites freedominvestment.us and freedominvestment.de and the services they are offering. According to information available to BaFin, the unknown operator is providing financial and investment services on these websites without the required authorisation. The operator refers to itself using the names Freedom Investments, FIT, FIT Freedom Investments Inc. German Branch, X-Trade Brokers, FIT S.A. and FIT Financial Services Inc. On the website freedominvestment.us, the operator claims to be supervised by BaFin. This is not the case.

EEX Now Provides REMIT Disclosure Services To Baltic-Finnish Gas Markets

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has successfully launched REMIT Inside Information Disclosure Services for Baltic-Finnish natural gas markets, previously offered by GET Baltic. The integration of these services into the EEX Transparency Platform follows EEX’s acquisition of the majority shareholding in GET Baltic and is the first joint accomplishment in the framework of the planned integration of the Baltic-Finnish gas markets into EEX. To date, 23 customers have signed up to use EEX’s reporting services for the Baltic-Finnish gas markets.

The three European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, EIOPA and ESMA – the ESAs) today published a Consultation Paper on the draft implementing technical standards (ITSs) regarding the tasks of the collection bodies and the functionalities of the European Single Access Point (ESAP). These ITSs and the requirements they set out are designed to enable future users to be able to effectively harness the comprehensive financial and sustainability information centralised on the ESAP. Stakeholders are encouraged to provide their feedback to this consultation by 8 March 2024.
