September Statistics Report From The NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchanges

The value of average daily share trading amounted to EUR 2.5 billion, compared to EUR 2.1 billion during the past 12-month period. The average number of trades per trading day was 324,223, compared to 301,149 during the past 12-month period. The total market cap of listed companies at NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange amounted to EUR 888 billion, compared to EUR 745 billion in September 2012.

PEGAS: Quality-Specific Natural Gas Products Successfully Launched

Today, trading of quality specific natural gas products has been launched on PEGAS, the common platform of European Energy Exchange (EEX) and Powernext. These products, which are traded on the Natural Gas Spot Market of EEX, comprise high-calorific (H-gas) as well as low-calorific natural gas (L-gas) for both German market areas GASPOOL and NetConnect Germany (NCG).

Revised MICEX10 Index Constituent List Comes Into Force

The amendments introduced into the MICEX10 Index after its quarterly review, include the following:
ordinary shares of JSC "Rostelecom" and JSC "RusHydro" will be added to the index, ordinary shares of JSC "Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System" and preferred shares of JSC "Sberbank of Russia" will be excluded from the index list. -

It was announced here today that the “Qatar Holding”, the investment arm of Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) has signed an agreement with NYSE Euronext whereby it purchased NYSE Euronext’s 12-percent stake in Qatar Exchange and has become the sole owner of Qatar Exchange. Cooperation between Qatar Exchange and NYSE Euronext will continue in different fields including technology and expertise.
