The Federal Reserve Board and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency on Friday permitted certain banking organizations to begin using an additional approach to determine their risk-based capital requirements.

ISDA Publishes ISDA 2014 Credit Derivatives Definitions

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) announced today the publication of the 2014 ISDA Credit Derivatives Definitions, a revised version of the 2003 ISDA Credit Derivatives Definitions that contains the basic terms used in the documentation of most credit derivatives transactions.

SEC: Credit Suisse Agrees To Pay $196 Million And Admits Wrongdoing In Providing Unregistered Services To U.S. Clients

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced charges against Zurich-based Credit Suisse Group AG for violating the federal securities laws by providing cross-border brokerage and investment advisory services to U.S. clients without first registering with the SEC.

US Treasury To Host Public Meeting Of The Financial Research Advisory Committee

On Tuesday, February 25, Treasury’s Office of Financial Research (OFR) will host a meeting of its Financial Research Advisory Committee. During the meeting, the Committee will provide advice to the OFR, bringing diverse perspectives to inform the OFR’s agendas for research and data, and helping the OFR fulfill its mission. The OFR will also report on prior recommendations of the Committee.

Moscow Exchange To Retire Quasi-Treasury Shares

Moscow Exchange has completed the buyback of 99,852,660 shares (representing 4.2% of its outstanding shares) from its subsidiary MICEX-Finance. Moscow Exchange intends to retire the shares and make the necessary amendments to its Charter in March.

Tokyo Financial Exchange: Rollover Of Leading Contract Month For Three-month Euroyen Futures - Effective From 20 February 2014

Tokyo Financial Exchange has decided to shift the leading contract month for Euroyen futures from the current September 2014 contracts to the December 2014 contracts, effective from 20 February 2014.
